The Rose Festival and Fleet Week are well into their way and the Grand Floral Parade kicks off at 10am tomorrow. Earth Day is just around the corner! Which leads me to the question-how do you plan to contribute to a healthier, happier, greener and safer environment? Perhaps you will ride your bike, take Trimet, garden, pick up trash around your neighborhood, fill up a glass of water vs. buying water in a plastic bottle, eat organic, go for a stroll in the sunshine or teach your children about green practices by reading them a story.

Whatever you do, make sure it counts.
