Grand Floral Parade Saturday, June 9
06.08.12
The Rose Festival and Fleet Week are well into their way and the Grand Floral Parade kicks off at 10am tomorrow. For those attending, seats will already be scouted out this evening by some that will be camping overnight. With that said, if you are looking for good seats you will surely want to arrive early. For all of those that have other activities scheduled, be sure to plan your travel routes accordingly as traffic will be strongly affected.
Enjoy the Weekend
05.17.12
Enjoy the sunshine while it’s still here! I hate to even mention the “r” word but yes- it is likely to begin raining early next week. So get outside, put down the remote and do something special. Take a stroll around the Waterfront Esplanade and grab some eats at Saturday Market. How about weekend brunch at Screen Door? Or a good micro beer on the large patio at the Green Dragon? Climb Mount Tabor, go hiking in the Gorge, sit on the banks of the Clackamas River, drive to Mt. Hood or get to the Oregon Coast.
For those living here at Indigo @ twelve|west I say get up to the roof and fire up the grills- get some burgers cooking and bring the potato salad, invite a few friends and enjoy the warmth of the fire pits as the sun sets. Cheers!
